This year, participants from institutions in Azerbaijan were invited to the International Leadership Academy program organized by the Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey in cooperation with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).

The program included training, social programs, panels, project presentations and official visits. Participants representing our country also met with R&D companies and managers of relevant public institutions.

The participants of the program, which took place between 04-14 October, were determined by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and TIKA in cooperation with various public institutions and the private sector in Azerbaijan, as well as academics and representatives of non-governmental organizations.

At the end of the program, with the country relations and high-level relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey being very good, public institutions, R&D centers and non-governmental organizations were evaluated in the areas where relations between them could be further developed and new studies could be carried out.

The program ended with a certificate ceremony held at TIKA headquarters. Dr. Mehmet Yılmaz, Head of Middle East and Foreign Relations Department of TIKA, Tezer Battal, Director of TÜSSİDE Institute, Abdurrahman Güngör, General Manager of Hacettepe Teknokent, Mustafa Dişci, Leadership Academy Coordinator attended the certificate ceremony.

The Leadership Academy program, which has been held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Kazakhstan and Tunisia in the past, is planned to be held in Algeria between 16-26 December this year.
