The closing and evaluation meeting of the "Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research Project", which was initiated with the contract signed between the Eastern Black Sea Project (DOKAP) Regional Development Administration and TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE on December 18, 2015 and completed by the end of 2017, was held in Giresun on March 15, 2018.
The meeting, which was organized with the aim of sharing the strategies and road maps created to increase innovation and entrepreneurship capacity, competitiveness, income level and support sustainable development in the region by analyzing the current situation of entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems of the DOKAP Region, carrying out project design studies for priority intervention areas, and putting forward a strategic road map, started with the opening speeches of Ekrem Yüce, President of DOKAP RDA.
Following the opening speeches of Mr. Yüce, presentations were made by TÜSSİDE experts on the activities carried out in the project work packages and project outputs. In the presentations of the project work packages, the outputs of the work package for the development of SMEs in the Region by Gülden Pınar Kaya, Consultant of TÜSSİDE, the work package for the Free Zone by Ayşe Kandemir, the work package for the Free Zone by Ayşe Kandemir, the work package for the Ready-to-Wear Clothing Cluster by Barış Çarıkcı, Senior Researcher, and finally the outputs of the work packages for Organized Industrial Sites, Industrial Sites, Technology Development Zones, Business Development Centers, Universities and Technology Transfer Offices by Can Bayraktar, Project Manager were conveyed to the participants.
