The closing and evaluation meeting of the "Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research Project", which was initiated with the contract signed between the Eastern Black Sea Project (DOKAP) Regional Development Administration and TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE on December 18, 2015 and was completed by the end of 2017, was held in Giresun on March 15, 2018.
By analyzing the current situation of the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems of the DOKAP Region, carrying out project studies for priority intervention areas, and presenting a strategic road map; The meeting, which was organized to share the strategies and road maps created to increase innovation and entrepreneurship capacity, competitiveness and income level in the region and to support sustainable development, with the stakeholders in the region, started with the opening speeches of DOKAP RDA President Ekrem Yüce.
Following Mr. Yüce's opening speeches, presentations were made by TÜSSİDE experts regarding the activities carried out in the project work packages and project outputs. In the presentations of the project work packages, respectively, the work package for developing Regional SMEs was presented by TÜSSİDE consultant Gülden Pınar Kaya, the Free Zone work package was presented by Chief Expert Researcher Ayşe Kandemir, the Ready-made Clothing Cluster work package was presented by Chief Expert Researcher Barış Çarıkcı and finally the Organized Industrial Zone work package was presented by Project Manager Can Bayraktar. The outputs of the work packages for Industrial Sites, Industrial Sites, Technology Development Zones, Business Development Centers, Universities and Technology Transfer Offices were shared with the participants.
