Field visits were carried out between 28 June - 8 July 2021 within the scope of the "Research Project on Improvement of Organized Industrial Zones Services" carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Technology, General Directorate of Industrial Zones and TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE.

During the field visits, many issues such as the type of services provided, target group, capacity and quality of the services were examined with the OIZ administrations. The visits to organized industrial zones in Kocaeli, İstanbul, Bursa, Balıkesir, Manisa, İzmir, İzmir, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Nevşehir, Niğde, Aksaray and Konya were carried out by the project's lead researcher Ayşe Üstünoldu Kandemir and researcher Kevser Akmaz. Within the scope of the field visits, the service models of OIZs with different characteristics were examined, best practices were identified, and interviews were held with the authorities of different structures (nursery, school, logistics center, etc.) that provide services within OIZs.
