Terminal Istanbul, which is planned to be established at Istanbul Atatürk Airport and aims to be one of the most prestigious international entrepreneurship campuses in the world, was discussed at the workshop hosted by the Informatics Valley, with the wide participation of public representatives, academics, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and private sector representatives.
In the workshop moderated by TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE, the scope of the Terminal Istanbul Project, which is planned to be established at Istanbul Atatürk Airport and aims to be one of the most prestigious international entrepreneurship campuses in the world, was evaluated in detail.
Following the briefing presentations, the following topics were discussed in the workshop, which proceeded in four sessions:
- Needs of the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem
- Implementation Recommendations and Good Practice Examples for Terminal Istanbul
- Policy Recommendations for Implementation
During these interactive sessions, stakeholders were consulted and the strategic steps to be followed within the scope of the project were discussed. The contributions of Terminal Istanbul to the technology-based entrepreneurship ecosystem and the critical role it will play in transforming Turkey into a global technology producing country were emphasized.
Participants stated that the Terminal Istanbul Project is a great opportunity to increase Turkey's innovation capacity and that the project will strengthen the country's technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Terminal Istanbul is expected to make significant contributions in this field and accelerate the national technology vision.
