The project, which was launched in December 2022 in cooperation with TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry General Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture, was completed with the closing meeting held in Ankara. Within the scope of the project, the current situation of 400 coastal structures was analyzed, classification and capacity assessments were made, governance model and development roadmap were created.
The meeting was attended by Turgay Türkyılmaz, General Director of Fisheries and Aquaculture and Ali Doğan, Director of TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE Institute, as well as general directors and department heads from the Presidential Strategy and Budget Directorate, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Provincial Directors of Agriculture from 32 provinces and representatives of various cooperatives.
