Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Korea Policy Center Visited TÜSSİDE

Byung-Eun Park, Director General, and Kyung-Ae (Susie) Lim, Research Assistant, from the Public Administration Program of the Korea Policy Center of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) visited TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE on 17 October 2017 within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two institutions last year.

Within the scope of the visit program, TÜSSİDE Institute Director Tezer Battal, Senior Researcher Kirstin Öztürk and Specialist Can Bayraktar participated in the meeting on behalf of TÜSSİDE and informed the Korean participants about TÜSSİDE's fields of study, competencies and activities carried out on e-governance, public-private partnerships (PPP), rural and regional development, which were on the agenda of the meeting. Byung-Eun Park from the Korean delegation, on the other hand, informed the participants about the activities carried out at the Policy Center, especially the Public Administration Program, in the fields of tax, competitiveness, health and social policies for the Asia-Pacific region.

During the meeting, TÜSSİDE and OECD Korea Policy Center officials exchanged information on the possible ways to further develop the relationship established between the institutions, possible collaborations and training of experts.
