Field visits were carried out between 28 June and 8 July 2021 within the scope of the "Improvement of Organized Industrial Zones Services Research Project", which is carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, General Directorate of Industrial Zones and TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE.

During the field visits carried out to examine the services offered in OIZs on site, many issues such as the delivery method, target audience, capacity and quality of the services were examined with OIZ managements. Visits to organized industrial zones in Kocaeli, Istanbul, Bursa, Balıkesir, Manisa, Izmir, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Nevşehir, Niğde, Aksaray and Konya were made by the project coordinator, Chief Expert Researcher Ayşe Üstünoldu Kandemir and Researcher Kevser Akmaz. Within the scope of field visits, service models of OIZs with different characteristics were examined, sample practices were identified, and interviews were held with officials of different structures (nursery, school, logistics center, etc.) providing services within OIZs.
