Field Studies for Ready-to-Wear Cluster in DOKAP Region Started

As a result of the 3-Star Analysis conducted within the scope of the DOKAP Region Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research Project, interviews were held with stakeholders in Giresun and Ordu provinces, which were determined to have clustering potential in the ready-to-wear sector, in order to analyze the current situation of the sector. Between July 11 and July 14, semi-structured interviews were conducted with companies operating in the garment sector in Giresun and Ordu provinces, relevant public institutions and organizations, chambers of industry and commerce, development agencies and academics from universities in the region.

DOKAP Regional Development Administration officials also participated in the activities and received information about the activities carried out. Field studies within the scope of the clustering work package of the project will continue with visits to Tokat in the coming weeks.
