The "Flexible Transportation Project" signed between IETT and TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE in June 2013, which aims to create a more comfortable and faster public transportation system for the people of Istanbul, has been completed.

One of the most important outputs of the project, the schedules for assigning buses to lines in terms of number and time, new working routes of metrobuses and driver planning schedules were delivered to IETT by TÜSSİDE. With the mathematical model and the simulation model created within the scope of the project, the number of passengers per square meter in a bus during a journey was minimized and the steps to be taken to meet the future increase in demand were revealed in detail.
