This year, participants from institutions in Azerbaijan were invited to the International Leadership Academy program organized by the Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey together with the Prime Ministry Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).

Participants representing our country in the program, which included training, social programs, panels, project presentations and official visits, also met with managers of R&D companies and relevant public institutions.

Participants for the program, which took place between 04-14 October, included various public institutions and the private sector in Azerbaijan, academicians and representatives of non-governmental organizations, were determined in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and TIKA.

At the end of the program, although the country relations and high-level relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey were very good, areas that could be further developed and new studies could be carried out in the relations between public institutions, R&D centers and non-governmental organizations were evaluated.

The program ended with the certificate ceremony held at the TİKA headquarters building. TİKA Middle East and Foreign Relations Department Head Dr. attended the certificate ceremony. Mehmet Yılmaz, TÜSSİDE Institute Director Tezer Battal, Hacettepe Teknokent General Manager Abdurrahman Güngör, Leadership Academy Coordinator Mustafa Dışci attended.

The Leadership Academy program, which has been held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Kazakhstan and Tunisia in the past, is planned to be held in Algeria on 16-26 December this year.
