The closing meeting of the "Project for the Development of Corporate Service Standards of the General Directorate of PTT", which was signed on September 29, 2016 with TUBITAK Turkish Industry and Administration Institute (TÜSSİDE) in order to continue its achievements supported by the solid foundations of PTT's 176 years of deep-rooted history by becoming stronger in the same lane with competitive global players and to ensure the establishment of an Integrated Management System within the organization as a requirement of global integration, was held.
With this project, an Integrated Management System (IMS) was modeled covering the central and provincial organization, where PTT's processes are integrated with ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 10002 and ISO 27001 management systems.
In his opening speech at the project closing meeting, Project Consultant Metin Yerabakan stated that the IMS model at PTT is a first in public institutions in Turkey and that the successful implementation of this model at PTT will set an example for all public institutions. Mr. Kenan Bozgeyik, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of PTT, emphasized the importance of the IMS model in achieving PTT's future goals and stated that this system should be embraced and implemented by all employees and expressed his expectations in this regard.
