In order to determine effective clustering strategies for the olive and olive oil sector in Turkey, the contract for the "Olive and Olive Oil Sector National Clustering Strategies Development Project" was signed between TÜSSİDE and the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock (MoFAL) by Mevlüt GÜMÜŞ, General Director of Crop Production, MoFAL and Tezer BATTAL, Director of TÜSSİDE.

The project aims to raise awareness on effective clustering strategies and policies in the olive and olive oil sector. The main objective of the project is to ensure local development by increasing production, exports and productivity in this sector and to increase the competitiveness of our country.

Within the scope of the one-year project, the opinions of stakeholders in the olive and olive oil sector will be gathered through local and national workshops and sector representatives will be informed about the project through the web portal to be developed.
