The Leadership School program was previously organized for bureaucrats in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.

Around 30 bureaucrats, press members and NGO managers from both countries participated in the two programs organized for Kazakh bureaucrats between 07-17 May and for Tunisian bureaucrats between 21-31 May.

Mr. Tezer Battal, Director of the Institute In the opening speech of the program, Tezer Battal emphasized the importance of Leadership School studies in terms of relations between countries.

The Leadership School program, planned with countries with which we have geographical and cultural affinity, is carried out in partnership with our institute and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and with the support of the Foreign Affairs. It is aimed to share Turkey's knowledge and experience in the field of leadership, to create new cooperation networks and to achieve common gains.

In the Leadership School program organized for Kazakhstan and Tunisia, applied trainings were first given at TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus. In this context; International Dimension of Change and its Effects on Turkey, Development of Turkish Economy, e-Government Applications, Accountability and Transparency, Strategic Management, Quality Management Applications in Turkey, Corporate Leadership and Human Resources Management were discussed.

In the first week of the program, which lasts for about two weeks, theoretical trainings are given by ITU, Başkent and Sabancı University lecturers, while in the second week, visits are made to the Turkish Grand National Assembly and relevant ministries in Ankara to familiarize the participants with the ministries and institutions in Turkey.

In order for the participants to get to know Turkey better, excursions are organized to the historical and cultural sites of Istanbul, while the Ankara program includes visits to Anıtkabir and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, which has reopened its doors after restoration.
