"Strategy Development Workshop and Logical Framework Meeting", which is the preliminary stage of strategic modeling within the scope of "Olive and Olive Oil Sector National Cluster Strategies Development Project" carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock (MoFAL) and TUSSIDE, was held at TUSSIDE on March 6-7, 2015. In addition to the MoFAL project team, TUSSIDE project team and technical committee members, a total of 56 people including sector representatives and cluster experts from public, private sector, universities and NGOs participated in the workshop.

The first day of the workshop started with the sharing of the scope of the project and the stages of the project so far, and proceeded through the outputs of the needs analysis study that had been previously developed by the project teams and technical committee members. The work continued with the contributions of the participants in groups and the prioritization of the actions to be taken to strengthen the sector. Also on the first day of the study, the information and experiences obtained as a result of the technical study visit to Spain on February 18-20, 2015 were shared with the participants.

On the second day of the workshop, participants were informed about the Development of International Competitiveness (UR-GE) Support Program of the Ministry of Economy and the Clustering Support Program of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. Following the briefing, a workshop was held to define the vision, performance indicators and target audience of the cluster support to be created in the light of the results of the previous day's work.
