Sectoral Strategies Training and Project Kick-off Meeting, which is one of the first stages of the "Geothermal Greenhouse Strategies Determination Project" carried out in accordance with the protocol signed between the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock (MoFAL) and TUSSIDE, was held at TUBITAK TUSSIDE on June 09-10, 2015.

The main objective of this project is to expand the use of geothermal resources in greenhouse heating, to bring geothermal energy potential to the economy, to increase quality, safe, reliable and sustainable production through soilless agriculture, to create a brand in agricultural products, to expand the use of domestic, renewable and clean energy in production, to increase exports, productivity and added value, development and competitiveness.

In line with the stated objectives, information was shared and evaluations were made on the technical issues that will be needed in the project in the training and meeting held with the participation of TÜSSİDE Project team, MoFAL Project team and technical committee members formed with experts from private sector, development agencies and universities.
