"Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research Project" for the DOKAP Region was signed between the Eastern Black Sea Project (DOKAP) Regional Development Administration and TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE on December 18, 2015.
In the project to be carried out by TÜSSİDE, the current state of entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems of the DOKAP Region will be analyzed, project design studies will be carried out for priority intervention areas and a strategic road map will be revealed. Thus, it is aimed to reveal the innovation and entrepreneurship capacity and competitiveness level in the region. With the outputs of the project, it is aimed to increase the income level of the people of the region and support sustainable development.
The project will analyze the entrepreneurship and innovation infrastructure of organized industrial zones and small industrial sites, technology development zones and business development centers, universities, SMEs and free zones in the region. Through field interviews, surveys and workshops, needs will be identified and strategic roadmaps will be drawn up.
Identifying cluster potential and creating a cluster roadmap to increase competitiveness in the region, and establishing a system/model and feasibility analysis to increase entrepreneurship and innovation capacity are also important steps of the project. The project is expected to end in April 2017.
