The second leg of the Science Camps Project, organized in partnership with Filli Boya, the Ministry of Family and Social Policies and TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE, will be held during the semester break.
During the first camp held on January 25-29, 2016, visits were made to TÜBİTAK MAM Food Institute, Earth and Marine Sciences Institute, Gene Engineering and Biotechnology Institutes, and activities were carried out with researchers. The camp also included many workshops such as Software Workshop, Motion and Friction Workshop, Model Airplane Making, DNA and chemical experiments.
The camp also included conversations and workshops with people of science and art who have achieved success in different professions. Kerem Cankoçak, a scientist working at CERN, Kaan Özkan, a philosopher, and Salih Aksu, a technology coach, took part in our camps as volunteers.
Our second camp continues on February 1-5.
