The closing meeting of the project carried out by TÜSSİDE for the institutionalization of Çanakkale Battles Gallipoli Historic Site Presidency (ÇATAB) was held in Çanakkale on July 13, 2018. In the meeting attended by senior management and employees, the work carried out in the project, outputs and contributions to ÇATAB were discussed.

Started on 20.03.2017, the project started with the institutional analysis of ÇATAB and continued with process, internal control, human resources workforce analysis and individual performance evaluation system, preliminary financial control and risk management studies.

Within the scope of the project, ÇATAB staff involved in each work package worked one-on-one, were trained, and senior management was frequently informed and supported. Throughout the project, attention was paid to establishing flexible systems by taking into account the needs and expectations of the organization, its strategic plan and the legislation, and what the organization should do next was listed.

With the project, ÇATAB's processes were defined, necessary improvement suggestions were made, employee job descriptions, units and to whom they report were clarified, the human resources needed were determined, the organizational chart was clarified, an individual performance system specific to the institution was designed, a picture of the institution as a whole was taken within the framework of internal control standards and an action plan was prepared for what needs to be done, as well as unforeseen risks were identified and necessary control activities were determined, consultancy was provided to increase the effectiveness of preliminary financial control procedures and control directives and checklists were created.

The project closing meeting ended with a speech of thanks from the senior management to TÜSSİDE and the presentation of a model of the Çanakkale martyrs' monument to the project coordinator.
