"Akhisar Furniture City Workshop", supported by Zafer Development Agency and implemented in cooperation with Akhisar Chamber of Carpenters and Furniture Tradesmen, was held on December 17, 2014, under the leadership of TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE experts. In the workshop held at Akhisar Municipality Hüsnü Kahraman Kültür Park Living Area Pond Grand Hall, the problems and future of the furniture industry were discussed.

Many Chamber Presidents and furniture industry representatives attended the workshop, including Akhisar District Governor Kaan Peker and Mayor Salih Fast. A proposal development study was carried out with the participants by revealing the current situation of the furniture industry. The program ended with the sharing of the developed suggestions and the closing speech.
