The seventh International Transportation Technologies Symposium and Fair Transist 2014 was hosted by IETT at the Istanbul Congress Center between 19 - 20 December.

In the symposium, which was held with the participation of the Ministry of Transportation, Metropolitan Municipalities, local and foreign academicians and industry veterans, problems related to public transportation were evaluated, workshops and panels were held. Dr. Fahrettin Eldemir from TÜSSİDE Transportation and Logistics Management Unit participated in the panel on "Big Data in Transportation" as a speaker and shared with the participants the results of the journey data analysis carried out in the "Flexible Public Transportation Model Project", which is currently in the second phase.
