Bosnia and Herzegovina Public Administrators were at TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE for the Leadership School Program.
TUBITAK TUSSIDE Leadership School aims to transfer the experience and knowledge in the field of leadership in Turkey to middle and senior level managers working in the public sector in Central Asian, Balkan and Middle Eastern countries. In this context, TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE works in coordination with the Turkish Cooperation Coordination Agency (TİKA) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A group of 35 people, including executives from various public institutions and organizations, NGO and press representatives, participated in the Bosnia-Herzegovina Leadership School Program organized within the framework of this cooperation.
In the training program; Global Change and its Effects on Turkey, E-government Applications, New Business Models, Quality Management Applications, Regulations and Competition in Privatization, Dynamics of Change in Turkish Economy, Transparency, Accountability and Waste Management were shared.
The program included visits to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the Ministry of Economy, the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities, TIKA and the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. Authorized persons from the relevant institutions shared their experiences and knowledge with the participants. After the visit program to public institutions was completed, a sightseeing program was started in order to introduce the cultural and natural structure of Turkey. Mainly Anıtkabir and Suriçi Istanbul, Dolmabahçe Palace, Sabancı Museum, Cappadocia region - Ürgüp, Göreme, Avanos and Konya-Mevlana Museum were introduced by experienced guides.
Emphasizing that they found the program fun, instructive and useful, the participants expressed the need to draw a common road map both within the framework of TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE Leadership Academy and through project collaborations.
