The "National Boron Research Institute Strategic Planning Project", carried out jointly by the National Boron Research Institute (BOREN) and the TUBITAK Turkish Industry and Administration Institute (TÜSSİDE), was completed. The project, which lasted three months, laid out BOREN's strategic road map.
As the first step of the project, "Strategic Management Training" was organized in Ankara with the participation of the project team and 30 employees of the organization. In this training, which was organized to support BOREN's institutional development, TÜSSİDE experts shared with the participants the conceptual framework for the preparation of the Institution's Strategic Plan that will carry the institution to the desired future.
As the second step of the project, "BOREN External Stakeholder Common Sense Platform Workshop" was organized. Leading organizations that shape the boron sector, academicians, representatives of non-governmental organizations and private sector representatives participated in this study, which was carried out to analyze the current situation of BOREN. During the workshop, ideas were exchanged to determine BOREN's strengths, aspects open to improvement, opportunities and threats it faces, and to create a road map. The workshop was held with more than 100 participants, including Eti Maden, MTA, SSM, TAFF Companies.
In the last phase of the project, a Strategic Model was created for BOREN with the guidance of experts and consultants from TÜSSİDE and within this scope, Strategic Goals, Strategic Objectives, Performance Indicators, Performance Targets, Strategies and Activities were determined and Budgeting work was carried out.
