Participation in MoNE Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Teaching Seminars Reached 12,000

As of the end of January 2016, the number of administrators and teachers trained under the Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Teaching Trainings for Vocational and Technical Education School and Institution Administrators and Vocational Course Teachers Project exceeded 12,400.

On February 22, 2013, within the scope of the protocol signed between the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, the project is carried out by TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE. In the project, the program design is carried out by TUSSIDE and the task of training is carried out by TUSSIDE experts.

The main objective of the project is to increase the awareness and competencies of managers and vocational courses teachers in VET schools on leadership and entrepreneurship. In this direction, it is aimed to provide students studying in schools with a culture of qualified entrepreneurship at an early age through teachers and administrators. With the largest entrepreneurship project in the education sector, it is aimed to spread the culture of entrepreneurship, R&D and innovation from schools to the society in line with the 2023 Vision.

15,000 teachers and administrators are expected to receive training in the project, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2016.
