TÜSSİDE Open Camps for General Participation, the preparations of which started in February 2014, were held on August 23-28 and August 30 - September 4. The first camp was attended by 25 successful students and the second camp was attended by 17 successful students.

The camps, which also included gifted students, were supported by scientists from TÜBİTAK institutes UME, BİLGEM, Institute of Environmental and Clean Production Technologies, Institute of Materials and Energy Institute with experiments and educational activities. In the camp, where scientific activities were supported by games, our students had the opportunity to meet scientists and their awareness of basic sciences was raised through experiments and educational activities. Robot Workshop, Science Detectives, Cryptology Workshop, Fun Math, Art Workshop, Alternative Energies Workshop are examples of the sessions in the camp.

In the "Camp Poster" study and general camp evaluation at the end of the camp, our students expressed their satisfaction with the camps and asked for more.

TÜSSİDE Open Camps for General Participation are planned to continue in the summer of 2016.
