About the Project: The Awareness Raising Project on the Effects of Climate Change and Adaptation to Climate Change is designed to detect regional climate changes in four geographical regions of Turkey (Aegean, Marmara, Black Sea and Central Anatolia) and to inform local people and the whole society in general about the measures to be taken. In this context, workshops were held in Izmir, Edirne, Trabzon and Konya. Seminars were given to primary school teachers from provinces selected to represent each region. Additionally, Science Camps were organized at TÜSSİDE for university and 6th and 7th grade students. Within the scope of the project, in addition to the public service announcement, many educational materials such as jigsaw puzzles, booklets, puzzles, animations were designed, and brochures and posters were distributed. The project ended in December 2013.
