Public Service Announcement on Measures to be Taken to Adapt to Climate Change

The public service announcement, which is one of the outputs of the "Raising Awareness on the Impacts of Climate Change and Adaptation to Climate Change" Project, supported by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization of the Republic of Turkey and carried out by TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE, has started to be broadcast on television channels.

The public service announcement aims to raise awareness by calling on the whole society to take individual measures to adapt to the impacts of climate change.

About the Project: The Awareness Raising on the Impacts of Climate Change and Adaptation to Climate Change Project was designed to identify regional climate changes in four geographical regions of Turkey (Aegean, Marmara, Black Sea and Central Anatolia) and to inform local people and the whole society in general about the measures to be taken. Workshops were organized in Izmir, Edirne, Trabzon and Konya. Seminars were given to primary school teachers from selected provinces representing each region. In addition, Science Camps were organized at TÜSSİDE for university and 6th and 7th grade students. Within the scope of the project, in addition to the public service announcement, many educational materials such as puzzles, booklets, booklets, puzzles, animations were designed and brochures and posters were distributed. The project ended in December 2013.
