The "Current Situation Analysis" workshops of the "Analysis of Cooperation Processes in Red Meat Production and Processing Project", supported by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock of the Republic of Turkey and carried out by TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE, were held in Erzurum on 13 and 20 May 2017.
Academicians working on red meat, representing Erzurum province and its hinterland, and sector representatives from the public, private sector and non-governmental organizations participated in the study moderated by TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE.
At the workshop, where all segments working in the Red Meat sector met at the same tables, opinions were expressed on the current situation of the sector. After the current situation analysis study, in which the strengths and areas open to development, as well as possible opportunities and threats of the sector were tried to be determined, a proposal development study was carried out to strengthen the sector by using creative idea generation methods and techniques.
