Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Korea Policy Center Visited TÜSSİDE

General Manager Byung-Eun Park and Research Assistant Kyung-Ae (Susie) Lim from the Public Administration Program of the Korea Policy Center of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) met at TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE on October 17, 2017, within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two institutions last year. They visited.

Within the scope of the visit program, TÜSSİDE Institute Director Tezer Battal, Chief Expert Researcher Kirstin Öztürk and Expert Can Bayraktar attended the meeting on behalf of TÜSSİDE and discussed TÜSSİDE's working areas, competencies and the topics on the meeting agenda, such as e-governance, public-private partnerships (PPP), rural areas, etc. They informed the Korean participants about the activities carried out on regional development issues. Byung-Eun Park from the Korean delegation gave information about the studies carried out at the Policy Center on tax, competitiveness, health and social policies for the Asia-Pacific region, especially the Public Administration Program.

At the meeting, TÜSSİDE and OECD Korea Policy Center officials also exchanged information on what can be done on issues such as further development of the relationship between institutions, possible collaborations and training of experts.
