The countdown has begun for TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, which was held for the first time last year and is the second largest aviation event in the world with more than 550 thousand visitors. The TEKNOFEST excitement that swept Turkey off its feet in September is starting again.
TEKNOFEST, which aims to transform Turkey into a technology-producing society and set out with the slogan of the National Technology Move, is supported by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, the Ministry of Industry and Technology and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, as well as Turkey's leading technology companies, public institutions and universities. being edited.
Within the scope of TEKNOFEST, which aims to raise awareness about technology and science throughout the society and to increase Turkey's human resources trained in science and engineering fields, technology competitions are organized in 15 different categories to support young people to work on the technologies of the future.
Competitions open to secondary school, high school and university students; In addition to future technologies such as flying cars and driverless cars; It also includes categories for today's technologies such as rockets, unmanned underwater systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles.

In its first year, TEKNOFEST managed to become the most important aviation and technology event not only in Turkey but also in the region. Last year, TEKNOFEST's competitors included drone racers from 25 countries, white hat hackers from 24 countries and technology entrepreneurs from 83 countries.
