The Project for the Preparation of the Strategic Roadmap of the Food Supply Security and Digitalization Joint Application and Research Center (GADOM) continues. As a result of the project, the strategic road map of GADOM, which was established on March 31, 2022 in partnership with Kırklareli University coordinatorship, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University and Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, will be drawn.
Within the scope of the project, workshops are organized in various provinces of Turkey in cooperation with TÜSSİDE and Kırklareli University. Until today
- "Use and Dissemination of Digital and Online Technologies at Every Stage of the Food Value Chain" and "Development and Implementation of Circular Agriculture and Food Practices" on October 12-13 in Ankara,
- "Food Supply Chain" on October 20 in Istanbul,
- On October 27th in Izmir, "Food Industry",
- November 3rd in Konya: "Primary Production"
- On November 9th in Şanlıurfa, "Dissemination of Precision Farming, Good Agriculture and Good Farm Practices"
themes were addressed. On November 17th in Adana, the workshop will focus on the "Current Situation of the Food Value Chain in Turkey".
Many public institutions and organizations, private sector, academia and NGOs participated in the workshops. The outputs of the workshops will lay the groundwork for both the diagnosis of the problems of our country's food value chain and the studies to be carried out by GADOM on a national and international scale.
