The Food Supply Security and Digitalization Joint Application and Research Center (GADOM) Strategic Roadmap Preparation Project continues. As a result of the project, the strategic road map of GADOM, which was established on March 31, 2022, with the coordination of Kırklareli University, partnership with Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University and Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University will be drawn.
Within the scope of the project, workshops are held in various cities of Turkey in cooperation with TÜSSIDE and Kırklareli University. Until today
- “Use and Dissemination of Digital and Online Technologies at Every Stage of the Food Value Chain” and “Developing and Implementing Circular Agriculture and Food Practices” in Ankara on 12-13 October,
- “Food Supply Chain” in Istanbul on October 20,
- “Food Industry” in Izmir on October 27,
- “Primary Production” in Konya on November 3
- “Dissemination of Precision Farming, Good Agriculture and Good Farming Practices” in Şanlıurfa on November 9
themes are covered. In the workshop to be held in Adana on November 17, the topic of “Current Situation of the Food Value Chain in Turkey” will be evaluated.
Many public institutions and organizations, private sector, academia and NGOs participated in the workshops. The workshop outputs will lay the groundwork for both the diagnosis of the problems of our country's food value chain and the studies to be carried out by GADOM on a national and international scale.
