Officials from the OECD Korea Policy Center visited TUBITAK TUSSIDE (Turkish Industrial Sevk and Administration Institute) to improve bilateral relations and discuss possible collaborations.
Within the scope of the visit program, TÜSSİDE Institute Manager Tezer Battal, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Software Technologies Institute (YTE) Manager Cemil Sağıroğlu, Korea Policy Center Public Program General Manager Park Deok Soo and Research Assistant Jace Choi took part.
During the program, TÜSSİDE and YTE informed the Korean participants about their fields of study and competencies. Park Deok Soo stated that the Korea Policy Center focuses on public administration, tax, competition, health and safety policy. He also mentioned that one of their main goals is to convey the work they do in their own country to OECD countries and other Asian countries.
Within the scope of the visit, possible cooperation between the institutions on issues such as training and exchange of experts and e-government was discussed. It was decided to sign a memorandum of understanding within the framework discussed.
