Within the scope of "No Child Left Behind Project" carried out by the cooperation of TUSSIDE (Turkish Industry Transfer and Administration Institute) and Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Human Resources, the training program attended by the Provincial Directors of National Education of 81 provinces was held at TUSSIDE Gebze campus between August 21-24, 2014. The aim of the training program was to increase the communication between the directorates and improve their competencies with up-to-date information by creating synergy among the participant group, including the Provincial Directors of National Education who have just started to work, before the new academic year starts.
The training program started with the speeches of Kocaeli Deputy Governor Derviş Ahmet SET, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor İbrahim KARAOSMANOĞLU, Ministry of National Education General Director of Human Resources Dr. Hamza AYDOĞDU, Kocaeli Provincial Director of National Education Fehmi Rasim ÇELİK, TÜSSİDE Institute Director Tezer BATTAL and TÜSSİDE Projects Coordinator Orhan DURSUN.
Former Provincial Director of National Education of Hatay and Edirne and former Hacettepe University Academician Prof. Dr. Aytaç AÇIKALIN held a session on "Educational Leadership". Afterwards, the training continued with the "Being a Team" outdoor practice. At the end of the day, Undersecretary of MoNE Assoc. Dr. Yusuf TEKİN attended the dinner. On the second day of the program, Prof. Dr. Murat GÜNAYDIN presented a session on "Managerial Communication Techniques". The provincial national education directors participating in the training program received theoretical information and reinforced their theoretical knowledge with practical activities during the three-day training program. The participants also participated in the excursion program and social activities in Istanbul within the training program.
On the last day of the work program, Prof. Dr. Sedat MURAT, President of the Ethics Board of Public Officials, made a presentation on "Ethical Leadership" and the work program ended with the closing and certificate ceremony.
