Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Copyrights (THGM) is carrying out the "Impact Analysis" study of the Project Supports for the Strengthening of the Cultural-Artistic Activities and Intellectual Property System (FMS), which it has been systematically supporting since 2012, with TÜSSİDE.

According to the contract signed between TÜSSİDE and THGM on September 28, 2020, TÜSSİDE will carry out the impact assessment studies of the cultural-artistic activities supported by the General Directorate and the FMS support program in 2017, 2018 and 2019. In this regard, the first meeting to determine the scope and limits of the impact analysis of the project was held in Ankara on October 21, 2020. At the meeting, Director General of Copyrights Dr. H. Ziya Taşkent, Deputy General Manager Fatoş Altunç, Head of Department Emire Çete and the project team consisting of experts in the Support Program took part. With the Focus Group Meeting held, the processes related to the support program, the input, process and output-oriented effects of the support program and possible success factors were examined and then reported.

The project will continue with the clarification of the survey and focus group interview questions to be prepared specifically for the stakeholders that were clarified at the Focus Group meeting, their implementation and analysis through field work, and the evaluation of the support program.

The project is planned to be completed in January 2021.
