Impact Analysis of Ministry of Culture and Tourism's Project Supports to be Conducted by TÜSSİDE

Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Directorate General of Copyrights (DGCCR) is conducting the "Impact Analysis" study of the Project Supports for Cultural-Artistic Activities and Strengthening the Intellectual Property System (IPS), which it has been systematically supporting since 2012, with TÜSSİDE.

According to the contract signed between TÜSSİDE and THGM on 28 September 2020, TÜSSİDE will conduct impact assessment studies of the cultural-artistic activities supported by the Directorate General in 2017, 2018 and 2019 and the FMS support program. Accordingly, the first meeting to determine the scope and boundaries of the impact analysis of the project was held on October 21, 2020 in Ankara. The meeting was attended by Dr. H. Ziya Taşkent, Director General of Copyright, Fatoş Altunç, Deputy Director General, Emire Çete, Head of Department, and the project team consisting of experts involved in the Support Program. With the Focus Group Meeting, the processes related to the support program, the input, process and output-oriented effects of the support program and possible success factors were examined and then reported.

The project will continue with the clarification of the survey and focus group interview questions to be prepared specifically for the stakeholders clarified in the Focus Group meeting, implementation through field work, analysis and evaluation of the support program.

The project is scheduled to be completed in January 2021.
