"Science and Technology Camps" Protocol Signed between MEB Beşiktaş District Directorate of National Education and TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE

Within the scope of the cooperation between MEB Beşiktaş District Directorate of National Education and TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE, a protocol was signed on December 10, 2019 at TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE to organize "Science and Technology Camps" for 9th and 10th grade students of high schools in Beşiktaş district.

Within the scope of the protocol signed by Nesrin KAKIRMAN, Director of Beşiktaş District National Education of the Ministry of National Education and İsmail DOĞAN, Director of TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE Institute, it is aimed to introduce high school students to emerging technologies, to integrate engineering processes and new technologies with software and to provide students with the experience of designing and producing new products.

The Science and Technology Camps, which will be held in TUBITAK TÜSSİDE for one week, aim to develop students' skills in designing, producing and improving solutions for the needs by using new technologies with teamwork. The program is designed for students to develop a project for a problem in daily life, including engineering production processes, design thinking, production, information and technology literacy, smart systems, electronic programming, internet of things, robotics and coding, UAV and UAV technologies and artificial intelligence.

In 2020, the camps are planned to start in January and continue throughout the year.
