Within the scope of the "Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research Project" carried out in cooperation with TÜSSİDE and Eastern Black Sea Regional Development Administration (DOKAP), interviews were held with academics from regional universities and Technology Transfer Office experts for the "Feasibility Study on the Evaluation of the Industrial Effectiveness of Regional Universities and the Establishment of a Regional Technology Transfer Center" .
Within the scope of the region, 10 universities in 8 provinces were visited and one-on-one interviews were held with a total of 64 people.
During the meetings, the current potential for focusing on research with high economic and social value at universities in the DOKAP Region and commercializing the currently ongoing research activities and bringing them into the economy and society in cooperation with industry was evaluated. In addition, the needs and priorities of universities and academicians and the obstacles to these were identified. The study was prepared and implemented for the departments of health, agriculture and technical sciences and their faculty members.
