Field Interviews Started within the Scope of DOKAP Project

Within the scope of the "Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research Project" carried out in cooperation with TÜSSİDE and the Eastern Black Sea Regional Development Administration (DOKAP), interviews were held with academicians from regional universities and Technology Transfer Office experts for the "Feasibility Study on the Evaluation of the Industrial Activity of Regional Universities and the Establishment of a Regional Technology Transfer Center".

Within the scope of the region, 10 universities in 8 provinces were visited and one-to-one interviews were conducted with a total of 64 people.

Through the meetings, the current potential for focusing on research with high economic and social value in universities in the DOKAP Region and commercializing the research activities currently being carried out and bringing them to the economy and society in cooperation with industry was evaluated. In addition, the needs and priorities of universities and academics and the obstacles to these were identified. The study was prepared and implemented for the departments of health, agriculture and technical sciences and their faculty members.
