In order to share the findings obtained within the scope of the "Survey and Feasibility Project for the Creation of Konya-Karaman-Mersin Industry and Trade Corridor", which is being carried out by TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE for the Konya Plain Project (KOP) Regional Development Administration, 4 experts from the project team met with Mersin Chamber of Shipping on 19 October 2017. He visited Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mersin Commodity Exchange.

Within the scope of the field visit, first a meeting was held with the managers and staff of Mersin Chamber of Shipping and Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the coordination of Korer Özbenli, Secretary General of Mersin Chamber of Shipping, and then a meeting was held with İsmail Sarı, Secretary General of Mersin Commodity Exchange, and Ahmet Erişmiş, R&D coordinator. meeting was held.

During the meetings and interviews, participants were first given information about the work carried out within the scope of the project. In the second part of the meetings, current projects and completed works were discussed to determine the current situation in the region.
