The seventh International Transportation Technologies Symposium and Fair Transist 2014 was held at the Istanbul Congress Center between 19 and 20 December, hosted by IETT.

In the symposium, which was held with the participation of the Ministry of Transport, Metropolitan Municipalities, local and foreign academicians who are experts in the field of transportation, and industry doyens, problems related to public transportation were evaluated and workshops and panels were held. As TÜSSİDE Transportation and Logistics Management unit, Dr. Fahrettin Eldemir attended the panel titled "Big Data in Transportation" as a speaker and shared with the participants the results of the journey data analyzes carried out in the "Flexible Public Transportation Model Project" studies, which is currently in the second phase.
