The Science Camps Project, supported by Filli Boya and implemented by TÜSSİDE, covers 6th and 7th grade students whose admission to the Ministry of Family and Social Policies was abandoned at the last minute.

The program design and implementation of two different science camps that we organized with our students from disadvantaged regions of Istanbul on 16-21 and 23-28 August 2015 were implemented by TÜSSİDE. The camp program has been prepared based on the scientific and technological infrastructure of TÜBİTAK institutes. Throughout the camp, we tried to convey to our students that science is accessible to everyone through workshops, experiments, games and educational activities.

Additionally, within the scope of the camp program, "Psychological Support" hours were held with our students in the evening sessions in partnership with Boğaziçi University, and Art Workshops were held with our students with the contributions of ARB İletişim.

The second leg of the Science Camps Project is expected to continue during the 2015 semester break.
