Strategic Management Training and 1st Coordination Meeting, which is one of the first stages of the "Seed Sector National Strategy Development Project" signed between the Turkish Seed Growers Association (TÜRKTOB) and TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE, was held on 25-28 January 2016 at TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE, Gebze Campus.

The main purpose of the project is to develop effective strategies and policies for our country's seed industry together with relevant stakeholders. Thus, it is aimed to ensure local, regional and national development and to increase our country's international competitiveness by increasing production, exports, productivity, usage areas and added value in the sector in question.

Within the scope of the project, TÜSSİDE provided Strategic Management Training to the Technical Committee members in order to speak the same language. Members include the TÜRKTOB Project team, private sector, public and association representatives, and academicians/experts. At the 1st Coordination Meeting held afterwards, information was given about the project work packages and ideas were exchanged with the stakeholders about the details of the project.
