The number of administrators and teachers who received training within the scope of the Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Teaching Training Project for Administrators and Vocational Courses Teachers in Vocational and Technical Education Schools and Institutions exceeded 12,400 as of the end of January 2016.
The project, which was carried out within the scope of the protocol signed between the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology on February 22, 2013, is carried out by TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE. In the project whose program design is carried out by TÜSSİDE, the training role is carried out by TÜSSİDE experts.
The main purpose of the project is to increase the awareness and competencies of administrators and vocational course teachers working in Vocational and Technical Education schools on leadership and entrepreneurship. In this regard, it is aimed to provide students studying in schools with a culture of qualified entrepreneurship at an early age through teachers and administrators. With the largest entrepreneurship project in the education sector, it is aimed to spread the culture of entrepreneurship, R&D and innovation to the society, starting from schools, in line with the 2023 Vision.
It is envisaged that 15,000 teachers and administrators will receive training in the project, which is aimed to be completed by the end of 2016.
