TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE will prepare the Strategic Roadmap of the Joint Research and Development Center for Security of Food Supply and Digitalization (GADOM)

“Food Supply Security and Digitalization Joint Application and Research Center (GADOM) Strategic Roadmap Preparation Project” was initiated in cooperation with TÜBİTAK TÜSSIDE and Kırklareli University. As a result of the project, the strategic road map of GADOM, which was established by the coordination of Kırklareli University, in partnership with Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University and Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, will be drawn.

Within the scope of the project, TÜBİTAK TÜSSİSE will analyze the current situation of the ecosystem at national and international levels, of which GADOM will be a part; will perform competency analyzes for the coordinator and partner universities. In the light of all data, GADOM's strategic roadmap will be prepared. With this roadmap, it is aimed to position GADOM as a competent center for consultation on food supply security and digitalization on a local, regional and also global basis.

The opening meeting of the project was held on March 31, 2022 at Kırklareli University Kayalı campus. Kırklareli Governor Osman Bilgin, Kırklareli University Rector Bülent Şengörr, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Rector Adem Korkmaz, Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Rector Mümin Şahin, TÜBİTAK TÜSSIDE Institute Deputy Director Ali Doğan, Protocol Members and representatives from academia and related sectors attended the opening.

The opening program started with the presentation of Chief Researcher Barış Çarıkçı from TÜBİTAK TÜSSIDE on both the “GADOM Strategic Roadmap Preparation Project” and the “Kırklareli University Regional Development-Oriented Mission Differentiation and Specialization R&D Strategy and Roadmap Project” completed in 2021. .
