OECD Korea Policy Center officials visited TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE (Turkish Industrial Management Institute) to improve bilateral relations and discuss possible collaborations.
Within the scope of the visit program, TÜSSİDE Institute Director Tezer Battal, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Software Technologies Institute (YTE) Director Cemil Sağıroğlu, Korean Policy Center Public Program General Manager Park Deok Soo and Research Assistant Jace Choi took part.
In the program, TÜSSİDE and YTE informed the Korean participants about their fields of work and competencies. Park Deok Soo stated that the Korea Policy Center focuses on public administration, tax, competition, health and safety policy. He also mentioned that one of their main goals is to convey the work they do in their own countries to OECD countries and other Asian countries.
Within the scope of the visit, possible collaborations between institutions on issues such as training and exchange of experts and e-government were focused on. Within the framework discussed, it was decided to sign a memorandum of understanding.
