"Filli Boya Winter Science Camps" carried out together by Filli Boya, the Ministry of Family and Social Policies (ASPB) and TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE have ended. The camps, each of which included 25 students, were held in TÜSSİDE between 25-29 January and 1-5 February 2016.

In the program, which is a continuation of the summer camps, our students this time visited the Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Institute, the Food Institute and the Institute of Earth and Marine Sciences, and held workshops with their researchers. Let's Get to Know DNA, The World of Stones, Model Airplane Making, Motion and Friction, Software and Chemistry Workshops can be given as examples of the studies carried out. Izmit Science Center and Seismological Monitoring Earthquake Training Center were also visited in the program.

In the camp, conversations and workshops were held with scientists and artists who have achieved success in different professions. Many valuable names such as our scientist Kerem Cankoçak working at CERN, Philosopher Kaan Özkan, and Technology Coach Salih Aksu took part in our camps as volunteers.

It is expected that the camps organized with ASPB and TÜSSİDE under the sponsorship of Filli Boya will continue in the coming years.
