Logistics infrastructure and the effective use of this infrastructure play one of the key roles in the development of countries. In order to contribute to the more effective use of the railway infrastructure in our country, a study will be carried out by TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE for the General Directorate of TCDD Operation.

In this context, in order to increase and activate the logistics activities in the railways, the current situation will be analyzed by TÜSSİDE experts through studies such as field studies, competition and load analyses, and as a result of the analyses, the system design regarding the operating model of the logistics fields and centers will be developed.

The contract for the "TCDD System Analysis and Business Model Research Project for Increasing Logistics Efficiency" to be held in cooperation with TÜSSİDE and TCDD was held between TÜBİTAK and TCDD during the "Cooperation Strengthening Workshop" held in TÜSSİDE on June 15, 2019. TÜBİTAK President Mr. Hasan MANDAL and TCDD General Manager It was signed by TÜSSİDE Director Mr. İsmail DOĞAN and TCDD Deputy General Manager Mr. Emin TEKBAŞ, under the witness of Mr. Ali İhsan UYGUN.
